The use of Mason jar for mosquitos repellent is one of the most effective proven methods, using essential oils and citrus fruits. The ingredients bellow show everything you need to make a Mason jar of your own:
- 2 mason jars
- 10 drops of lemon eucalyptus essential oil
- 10 drops of citronella essential oil
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 lime, sliced
- 4 sprigs of rosemary (optional)
- Floating disc candles
- Slices of lemon and lime should be added the same amount in each jar
- Optional is to put 2 sprigs of rosemary in each jar.
- The jar needs to be filled with ¾ of water
- Then you need to add 10 of each type of the essential oils in the specific jar ( no mixing together)
- Through the process add water until the jar is full
The final step of the process is to activate the natural mosquito repellents by lighting up a candle. The final product can be used in many environments such as porches, campfires and many outdoor places where mosquitos are dominant.
